A Phenomenal Movie Marathon

Spending much time watching movies is not my cup of tea, unless I love the person/people I'd be doing the activity with. Love month came. I pondered that movie marathon would be awesome for love month celebration. And so these were the three flicks I chose:

THE NOTEBOOK
I've been hearing positive feedback regarding this movie since high school. Its story was even narrated by some buddies. Many advised me to see it. It seemed everyone watched it already, except me.  The point that everyone loves "The Notebook", I thought it would be an unforgettable experience if I would watch it with someone special. Many years had passed and I remained a little naive about the movie. The reason behind not watching earlier was I had not yet come across the right person to watch the movie with.

On the love month of 2012, I finally opted to see the movie. Prolly because I wanted to see it before end of the world??? Haha! Kiddin' aside! Of course, it only meant I saw the special person. Yes, the idea was lame and I don't care. :D

Honestly, I already knew how this movie would end. But I didn't anticipate that I would be deeply moved by it. Tears began to tumble at the part where Noah and Allie separated. I felt pain in my head because I tried to control myself from crying. Releasing my emotions would not be a good idea because I would certainly howl my eyes out and wake his sleeping brother up. However, the story was poignant that I really blubbered. Yes, I'm such a shmuck to cry over fabricated story. Haha! The guy sitting beside me was sweetly comforting the inconsolable me. Haha!

After watching, I pictured myself growing in love and old with a certain guy. I asked myself, "Who would that be?". I turned my head slightly and saw the face of this gallant man. I couldn't help myself but smile. I softly whispered to myself "I wanna wake up every morning seeing this face, until it becomes wrinkled."

LETTERS TO JULIET
I am madly, truly, deeply, passionately in love with this flick; from its soundtrack, the memorable quotes to the story itself. As they say, it is an amusing, touching, reassuringly wholesome romantic travelogue of a film that flies by on its way to the inevitable happy ending. This flick proves that love has no expiration date. Nothing and nobody has the power to cease love when it is genuine and pure.

HAPPY FEET 2
This flick turned out to be an ice breaker for all of us. After 2 romantic movies, we viewed "Happy Feet 2". It's so cute. OMG! As I watched it, I missed my 2 nephews and little sister. Erik looks like my 2 nephews. Haha! His sweet voice, the way he walks, and cries... He represents my 2 cutie-patootie nephews. :D

***

I have a long long list of movies I haven't seen yet and planning to see real soon. Some of them are; Love Actually, Ghost, Serendipity, Alvin and the Chipmunks 3, Titanic 2, Notting Hill, and a lot more. I'm still young, I can watch ALL GREAT MOVIES that were published! Haha!
